I mentioned in a previous post that I was working on posting scriptures through my house to meditate on and serve as a visual reminder of my goals. I’ve compiled a list of 10 scriptures to post and work on memorizing. When I’m done, I’ll post them to Flickr in case you would like to print them out, too.
1. 1 Corinthians 14:40 – “Let all things be done decently and in order”
2. Colossians 3:23-24 – “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as unto the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.”
3. Romans 14:12 – “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”
4. Ecclesiastes 3:1 – “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven”
5. Psalm 16:11 – “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”
6. James 1:5 – “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
7. 2 Timothy 4:7 – “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”
8. Galatians 6:9 – “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
9. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 – “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
10. John 5:13-14 – “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.”
